My dad always says “aprende el arte y ponlo aparte” which translates to “learn the craft, set it aside”. I think I take him too literally.

My name is Laura. I was born in Venezuela to Colombian and Italian parents. We moved to Panama when I was 15, and then I came to the U.S. as an international student in 2021. I’ve moved around a lot all my life, but my love for art has remained a constant.

I have a bachelor’s in Studio Art and a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Management Communications. I’m a professional marketing and branding specialist, designer, photographer, and visual artist.

In the past, I have also worked with watercolors, acrylics, screen printing, drawing, sculpture, special effects makeup, video editing, motion graphics, and ceramics.

Jack of all trades? Perhaps, especially if you sprinkle in all the baking and obscure musical theater knowledge.
