Over the 2024-2025 school year, I led an amazing, chronically online team of interns as we embarked on a mission to revamp our social media, increase our follower count, and strengthen our brand presence on campus. 

 After a change in leadership, I had free reign to rethink our strategy and develop a Gen-Z-focused approach to promoting our programming and resources. 

More often than not, such a strategy involved me being silly online, sometimes to the entertainment of thousands of people. Quite honestly, the hardest part is getting Librarians (a tough crowd) to be on camera, but as one of my interns likes to say: “don’t fret, just trust”. Turns out being silly on camera pays off, and I think these numbers speak for themselves.
