FSU Libraries Development Development Work

Scarves, envelopes, and illustrations presented to Library donors and board members.

FSU Libraries Scarf

This silk scarf was designed for the Dean of Libraries to present as a gift to donors who made donations of over $50,000 to FSU Libraries. The scarf features Strozier Library, Dirac Library, the James D. Westcott Memorial Building, and Dodd Hall, with a unique Libraries seal in the middle and an intricate border made of chains and plaid details.

All the illustrations on the scarf are hand-drawn. I completed the illustrations in Procreate and assembled the print in Photoshop. I ran a few different print tests with our vendor and ended up deciding on a digital print on silk. One scarf was also mounted and framed in the Dean’s admin suite.

As of July 2025, seven scarfs have been gifted.

Envelope Design

I made these illustrated envelopes to package the scarves. Gifted scarves are wrapped in tissue paper and carefully folded into the envelopes for shipping and pickup. This print was also made in Procreate, and the pattern was finished in Illustrator.
