Work submitted to the DA&D New Blood 2025 design awards for the Monotype brief. This brief asked for submissions that explored political and/or social tension through original typography work. I traced a handwritten sample from my little cousin to create a font that represents a child’s voice in the current political climate, particularly in relation to immigration issues. I used the font to make outdoor and online ads. Although my submission wasn’t selected, this was an excellent typography exercise. I taught myself how to use Glyph, and learned a few new tricks in After Effects, so overall,  I’m very proud of it and thought it would be a nice addition to my portfolio.
